Additional Event Details and Logistics

According to Travel and Leisure Magazine (May, 2022), "Rincón is the ultimate beach lover's paradise. Home to some of the best surf breaks in the world, the town's laid-back vibe, small eateries and boutiques, and abundant surfing schools attract water sports enthusiasts from near and far. But there's plenty more to do here beyond a catch a wave. Snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, whale watching, fishing, or simply relaxing on the beach and enjoying Rincón's notoriously beautiful pink sunsets will certainly keep you entertained."

The venue we'll be using is a large house and related compound nicknamed "Enhasa" that is a short walk to restaurants and the beach. The events will be held on the open air, covered roof of the property - which is a wonderful space that is frequently used for events and retreats. It has a bathroom, a modern kitchen, and even a view of the ocean.

The house has a small number of rooms that can be rented for the event.

There are 6 bedrooms with a shared bath that are $50/night.

There are 2 outdoor sleeping rooms (each with a single size bed) that are $30 a night. One of the sleeping rooms has a private toilet, the other does not. Guests in these two "outdoor" rooms will use shared bathrooms in the main house for their showers. Note that these rooms do not have walls or much privacy and are located down by the pool.

There are also many places available on AirBNB and major Hotel sites that you can stay. If you stay near the "Sandy Beach East" area in Google maps (which has accommodations named Rincon Motel, Las Palmas Inn, Caribbean Surf Villas, Tamboo Hotel, and many others near it) you should be within walking distance of the property. We'll send the exact address when you register.

The closest airport is: Rafael Hernández International Airport (BQN). If you have a transfer in the USA, it might be possible to get a direct flight here. It's closest to the retreat center, and you can take a taxi directly to it or your hotel. It's about 45 minutes away from the venue.

Another option is to fly into the main airport in San Juan Puerto Rico (SJU) and take a shuttle or taxi from there, or rent a car. SJU is about 3 hours away from the venue. We'll be working to make this process easy as we get everyone's flights and can help you group together for transportation to the venue if you fly into SJU. You can also fly on a small plane from SJU to BQN and take a taxi from there. People do that all the time from San Juan to come and surf in Rincon for the day! 

There are several restaurants within walking distance of the venue. Depending on the event you register for, there may be some communal meals at the venue, or a meal plan available to purchase. More details will be provided when you register.

Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States of America. US citizens can travel to it with just their driver's license, as they would any state in the union. International attendees may require a visa, depending upon your nationality. If you need something such as an official letter of invitation to obtain a visa from your country, just contact us after registering.

If you cancel 10 Days to Awakening, you'll receive a voucher to take the online version, 45 Days to Awakening. If you cancel Thriving in Fundamental Wellbeing, you'll receive a voucher to take the online version of the program. No refunds will be issued for these programs, unless you are unable to obtain a visa or have COVID related travel complications.

Cancellations for the Levels and Locations Master Class and Meditation or the Private Meditation and Coaching Retreat will only be honored 30 days prior to the start of the event, unless you are unable to obtain a visa or have COVID related travel complications. A $500 cancellation fee will be charged for any cancellations, unless visa or COVID related.
